A Little Architecture

more to come

Demon: The Fallen

Studies for the cover of one of D:TF's suppliments. For reasons unknown to me at the time, the emphasis was meant to be on the summoners and not the demon. The idea was that each of the summoners was to look vaguely like a known celebrity. This was I suppose meant to suggest the real (W.O.D) reason why so many of the least talented or deserving individuals make the limelight. No doubt, someone will eventually have the brainstorm to cut out the middle man and start giving The Fallen their 15 minutes.

Upon reflection, one could make the case that this is already happening.

Batman

Next to the Paul Dini/Bruce Timm animated series, my favorite permutation of the character thus far.

Ponghe sez hai.

- His name is pronounced much like the early home video game that by its very reference, dates the artist horribly.

"all your nostalgia are belong to us."

Tormenta

pencil, ball-point pen(s), highlighters and a sharpie.

Fat M.A.C.

Extremely durable survey mech designed to explore a variety of harsh environments. The applications are myriad.

"Carolyn"

A figment, a fancy. A little Marilyn, a little Nancy (Kovak, that is). At least that's who she reminds me of .

Don't grok the Nancy Kovak? For shame, citizen.

Google or Alltheweb for her pictures. Regrettably there are few.
-here's a hint: she played Medea in Jason and The Argonauts. Her performance was a spectacle fit to rival Harryhausen's FX, and I'm talking skeleton warriors here.

Affiniti Lux

Normally one to stand on formality, Affiniti insisted on dressing for the occasion. I said it was only a sketch, so she should explore the more casual end of her teeming wardrobe.

So she just stood there and posed as is.

Werewolf: the Apocalypse

More White Wolf action. Actually, the word apocalypse is merely Greek for revelation. I've always found it curious how we've come to regard both words as synonyms for disaster and catastrophe. Perhaps for those with something to hide(occult=hidden), the act of revelation might seem a catastrophic experience.

"The Truth will out", quoth the bard.

The Knight

'Nother Aberrant. In the immortal words of Flip Wilson's Geraldine; "what you see is what you get."

Not that I was going for that effect, but this one is easily the most 'Alex Ross-ian' I've ever gotten with my style.

hmmm...

Monster or Maiden?

Technically, she is an Aberrant(White Wolf's answer to Mutants). So by virtue of that alone, she's pretty much a walking Id brimming over with Jungian Shadow who has been cursed with the dubious boon(bane?) of being able to level a city block with the twitch of her eyebrow. You might say she answers the question of what would happen if Magneto and Carrie White sired a daughter.

Ain't she neat?
